With Christmas not too far away, it’s the time of year to think of goodwill and gifting, sharing and caring for those less fortunate than ourselves. Actually, any time of year is a good time to give a little bit back. Maid In Essex is a long established family business based in Brentwood, in Essex. We have great reputation in the Essex and have worked very hard for a long time to offer a quality domestic cleaning service to homes throughout Essex. We differ so much from our competitors as we offer not just random cleaners, but the chance for clients and cleaning ladies to build a real relationship that will hopefully last for years. Your cleaner is important to you, and they are important to us too. Well looked after, and well respected cleaners will stay with you for a very long time.
But it’s not just by providing brilliant cleaning staff that we give to the community. Our staff here at Maid In Essex HQ often do their bit for local groups and charities. Did you know for example, that we often provide cleaning vouchers for local raffle prizes to schools, playgroups, clubs and other organisations in the area. We are delighted to be in a position to be able to help with these kind of fundraising opportunities for local groups, and we know that our wonderful cleaning ladies will do a great job on the day.
On a personal level, our staff in the office like to take part in events to raise money for charity on a national level. Our lovely Fliss recently completed rode from London to Paris and raised over £3,000 for the British Heart Foundation? What a star she is! She likes to ride and this was a whopper of a journey, but the money raised and the thrill of completing the event, more than made up for the sore thighs and achey bottom!
In September, some of our team competed in the Nuclear Races at the Secret Nuclear Bunker in Kelvedon Hatch to raise money for charity, and we loved every minute of it! Nuclear Races are tough gritty obstacle races over varied, undulating terrain including man-made obstacles and awesome natural features. Course distances and race formats vary from 5k – 42k. There were relentless amounts of mud, but the race was challenging, invigorating and great fun for us all. Ed from our office runs the Nuclear Races whenever he gets the chance!
We firmly believe that charity begins at home, and as we work within homes throughout Essex, we like to do our bit when and where we can. Why not call us today on 01277 812220 to find out all about the amazing cleaning ladies we provide? Don’t miss out!
